For ISDN exchange trunk connections (PRI) or S2M tie-trunk connections to network switches.
Up to 2 x S2M trunks (2 x E1 with 30 channels each) possible. Licenses must be purchased for each B-channel to be enabled.
No more than 3 DIUN2 / DIUT2 cards can be installed in one OSBiz X8 or HiPath 3800 switch (one card has 2 E1 ports with 30 connections each). The following applies for USA: Up to 5 DIU2U / DIUT2 cards can be installed in one OSBiz X8 or HiPath 3800 if all cards are operating in BOS mode (one T1 port with 24 connections can be configured per card in this case). Up to 4 DIU2U / DIUT2 cards can be installed in one HiPath 3800 switch if all cards are operating in MOS mode (a maximum total of 7 T1 ports with 23 connections and one signalling channel each can be configured in this case). Cable L30251-U600-A475 required for POR/SPA, for the connection to the PSTN junction box. The DIUT2 ports can be operated with different digital protocols (e.g. 1 port as ISDN PRI and 1 port as CorNet connection). Mixed mode operation of the same port is not possible.
