Extron D/2 DA4 DVI 4 Output DVI Distribution Amplifier
The Extron D/2 DA4 DVI is a one input, four output distribution amplifier for DVI digital video signals. It accepts DVI - Digital Visual Interface signals from a computer and distributes up to four identical, independently buffered outputs. The DVI digital output signal can be run up to 15 feet (4.6 meters) using standard DVI patch cables.For applications requiring longer cable runs, Extron has developed the IN9700 Series long distance DVI cables which allow DVI signals to be transmitted up to 75 feet (22.9 meters). For applications requiring even greater lengths, the Extron DVI 201 transmitter and receiver are capable of sending DVI signals up to 200 feet (60 meters) using CAT 5 cable, and the FOX 500 DVI fiber optic transmitter and receiver set can achieve transmissions at extreme distances up to 30 km (18.75 miles). The D/2 DA4 DVI accepts TMDS Transition Minimized Differential Signaling DVI signals at a bit rate of up to 1.6 gigabits/sec/color. It is equipped with DVI-D connectors for a single link of DVI-D. Extron Fox 500 RX Fiber Optic HR Receiver for RGBHV Audio and Rs-232
The Extron FOX 500 Rx Fiber Optic Receiver enables long haul transmission of RGBHV video, audio, and RS-232 control signals over a single fiber. Engineered for reliability and exceptional high resolution image performance, it uses Extron all-digital technology to deliver perfect pixel-for-pixel transmission of computer-video images up to UXGA 1600x1200 resolution. Designed specifically for AV systems, the FOX 500 Rx includes many integrator-friendly features such as image adjustments and calibration, dual RGB and audio outputs, RS-232 control, and real-time system monitoring. The FOX 500 Rx is part of the extensive FOX Series of fiber optic products from Extron and is compatible with FOX Series HDMI, DVI Plus, DVI, VGA, and VGA/YUV transmitters. It can be used for simple point-to-point applications or in combination with FOX Series distribution amplifiers, switchers, and matrix switchers to handle the most challenging AV system designs, from a simple conference room to an enterprise-wide fiber optic distribution system. The receiver is ideal for a wide range of applications requiring long distance transmission of high resolution content with the highest quality. Because transmission of content is inherently secure and immune to outside interference, fiber applications are favored in government, military, and medical environments. The receiver features industry standard LC-type connectivity. The FOX 500 Rx is available in two versions, multimode and singlemode. The FOX 500 Rx MM supports multimode fiber at 850 nm, which is typically used within buildings or facilities with moderate-range transmission distances. The FOX 500 Rx SM supports singlemode as well as multimode fiber at 1310 nm. Singlemode fiber offers long-range transmission capability over extreme distances of up to 30 km (18.75 miles). It is used in very large facilities such as airports and stadiums, as well as connecting over very long distances between facilities such as university campuses. Offering convenient integration into AV systems, the FOX 500 Rx features dual RGB and stereo audio outputs which reduces additional AV equipment requirements, as well as sync format conversion for RGBHV, RGBS, or RGsB output. When paired with the FOXBOX Tx VGA/YUV transmitter, the receiver output format follows the input format, RGBHV or HD component video. The FOX 500 Rx and its corresponding transmitter can be controlled and configured using the RS-232 port on the transmitter. With a second fiber link installed, functions for both units can be controlled at either location. Since the units are typically situated far apart, this capability adds considerable versatility, enabling adjustment and calibration of video and audio at the receiver. It also allows for verification of fiber link status between the units as well as the presence of RGB and audio input signals at the transmitter. Digital-to-Analog RGB ConversionThe FOX 500 Rx is ideal for AV systems that include a variety of digital and analog sources and displays. Pairing the receiver with a FOX Series HDMI, DVI Plus, or DVI transmitter provides easy conversion of HDMI/DVI-D signals to analog RGB. The MTP T SV A accepts balanced or unbalanced stereo audio on a 5 pole captive screw connector, while the MTP T SV A RCA model accepts unbalanced stereo audio on RCA connectors. The s-video input on both models is a 4-pin mini DIN connector. The active, balanced S-video and audio signals are output to a single CAT 5, 5e, or 6 cable, and when coupled with an MTP R SV A Series receiver, the pair is capable of sending the S-video and audio signals 1,000 feet (300 meters) or more. Both the MTP T SV A and MTP T SV A RCA are configurable for either mono audio, which is the default setting, or stereo audio transmission, depending on the application needs. The MMX 32 VGA A is designed to route high resolution computer-video and stereo audio signals. The MMX 32 VGA A accepts VGA-UXGA and unbalanced stereo audio input signals and features three 15-pin HD female video input connectors and three 3.5 mm female mini jacks, allowing direct connection to computer video cards and sound cards using a standard VGA and audio cable. Output one is optimized for a local or preview monitor and includes a 3.5 mm stereo mini jack for driving local powered speakers or a recording device. Output two is optimized for connection to the main presentation display and house sound system.
