    The Comprehensive / Kramer TP-123 Audio/Video RS-232 Transmitter is a component of an array of products intended to extend the reach of computer cables, dramatically increasing the distance between source and monitoring station. This allows a user to cleanly extend their studio, video, or security applications beyond the short cabling that restricts the spacing of devices. Using a compatible receiver, the TP-123 can send audio, serial, and video signals by converting them into a feed that is sent down a twisted-pair (Ethernet) cable.
